These are just a handful of yummy, easy meals that can be made and kept throughout the week to eat so theres not much clean up every single day!

A few helpful meal prepping tips are:

  • Always wash and cut your fresh produce after you buy it. Keeping containers for veggies and fruits in the fridge, instead of in the containers they come in can help you WANT to reach for them more often, you dont have to wash and cut them every time you want to grab them, which is a big reason why people tend to go through fresh produce so quickly and so often, by letting it sit and get old instead of eating it (which is the reason you bought it in the first place)
  • Always have containers for meal prep separate from your tupperware that you may use for left overs, that way youre more prone to using them instead of stuffing food in it that doesnt need to be in it. It will make the clean up and the organization so much easier.
  • Start small. When you start meal prepping it may become easily overwhelming, start with one thing at a time/one meal at a time. Give yourself enough time to prep, whether it be late at night or early morning or in between special schedules you may have, always give yourself enough time to complete the whole prep and clean up if you desire to do both in one sitting.
  • Consider including all food groups, I tend to give my kiddos one of each for lunch and dinner, I.E. a main dish, whether it be meat, pasta, sandwiches or whatever I choose to make that day, a veggie of choice, a fruit of choice, one healthier snack (jell-o, pudding, applesauce, yogurt, so on..) and a sugary snack varies on meal but sometimes I include cookies, fruit snacks, ice cream, or anything they may enjoy for after their meal is over that is small but satisfying. So when meal prepping try to include meats, cheeses, veggies, fruits etc..
