Get to know me.
My name is Brooklyn Leigh, I am a freelance photographer, who does any and every requested photoshoot, though I am specializing in maternity and family photography. I aim for my work to be uniquely beautiful without force. My passion is to explore my creativity while documenting significant moments in my clientsโ lives.
Outside of photography I am also a Mommy to 4 precious babies. I like to share on here, my tips and tricks that I have picked up on, while mothering them over the years. I love being a supporter and a helping hand to any and all mothers or caregivers all over the world. My biggest goal for my parental readers is to make them feel as if they can come together as one and know that they are never alone in their motherhood/parenting journey.
When I was a junior in high school I remembered always saying I would become a Journalist, and major in communications and journalism. Then I had my firstborn daughter the year after I had graduated and my dreams were put on pause until I realized I needed no degree to free write and express myself in other ways. When my daughter was 7 months old, I created this blogsite and I have grown so much since that time. I am so grateful for those who take the time to read my posts, those who comment/like/share, and those who relate and reach out. It never goes unnoticed and it is always so appreciated.

Round.
Can you still see your toes?
The fearsomeness of the term growth, probably creeps within us all, when referring to our weight.
Some of us may deeply fear our growing bellies, and that is okay.
Will he still love me the same? Will I still love me the same? Will I develop new marks on my body? Will I still be beautiful as I was before?
Yes. Yes a real true love, will love and cherish you through the toughest of times, even if regarding some extra baby weight.
You may struggle with self acceptance and love, but find it deep within, and appreciate this growing body, for it, is making space for thee most precious creation you will ever lay eyes on.
The marks on your body may come in all shapes, colors, sizes, and in all various places but remember those are just there to remind you what you went through to get to your blessing.
Those marks should never be dwelled on, they are BEAUTIFUL.
You are beautiful, even if you cant quite see your toes.
You are round.
But you are housing your child; feeding, nurturing, carrying and caring for, this beautiful baby in the depths of your body.
While you sit and count stretch marks, and count days until you have your body back to yourself, your baby is counting the beats of your heart, counting every time they hear you speak, counting every time you poke back at their kicks.
So yes,
Their home is round.
But.
Their home is warm, safe, comforting, and secure.
Their home is you.
